As we ride out these days of social distancing it is truly heart-warming to see so many parts of the community come together to help each other. Sending a card is a really good way to make someone’s day a little better and this is something kids can do too. They could send a note or a drawing to someone they know, or this article suggests writing to residents of a nursing home or assisted living center. These elderly residents are feeling very isolated from their family and friends as they are not allowed visitors.
